Hi everyone. Our number one concern is helping Steemians build and grow their accounts on Steem also taking care of the security of your accounts when you interact with Minnowbooster.

In the last days we've noticed several phising attempts connected to your Minnowbooster accounts in an attempt to steal your private keys. For this reason, we've compiled a post on how you can be sure that you're dealing with the one and only Minnowbooster.

Being aware of the following information below will help you keep your account safe from bad actors:

1.) Verify the Link:

Minnowbooster has only two valid URLs:

https://www.minnowbooster.net/
https://www.minnowbooster.com/

If anybody sends you different links than these, they are most definitely not connected to the Minnowbooster service.

But, this is not enough to protect yourself. Unfortunately, it is really easy to lure you on a site with an almost identical address.

Therefore, most browsers have a built-in protection for these cases.

As an example, you'll notice something similar to this in the browser, which means that the origin of the link has been verified.

Do not trust the site if this is not displayed!

To be 100% sure you can open the additional security info.

On chrome click at the 3 dots menu -> More tools -> Developer tools and then click on the security tab. Or through the shortcut: Ctrl+Shift+C

Which will show you this:

And on "View certificate":

Which shows you if the site is really who it says it is.

If this certificate doesn't say it has been issued to www.minnowbooster.com you're also on the wrong website!

This way you'll be able to verify the identity of any site.

• Minnowbooster will contact you via memo solely from the Minnowbooster account, do not trust memos from other accounts as long as we do not publish any different info;
• Minnowbooster login is only via Steemconnect, we will never ask you to enter your data via a different login.

The Minnowbooster staff:

• Always has a rank on the Minnowbooster discord. Do not trust people without a rank even if they say they are part of the team;
• Will never ask you for any of your private keys;
• Will never ask you to transfer your funds to them;
• Will never ask for your personal information.

Additionally, only people with the following ranks are officially part of the Minnowbooster support team.
