A lot of very good points. My sister raised her son alone and while she lived near us the family helped. However, when he was about 3 she moved away to go to university and it was too far for us to see her regularly. Her son is 35 now and lives with her again. He has used drugs in the past and has anxiety and panic attacks so he couldn't keep a job for long. He is now on disability payments.
