My youngest always struggled with punctuation and capitals as she wrote. It caused too much stress to correct her as she went, so I ended up leaving her to finish writing, then we'd go through and correct it afterward together. Then I would get her to proof read and correct as much as possible first. She's 17, now, and mostly has a handle on it all, I just have to correct her in a few places, but even we have to proof read and correct our work before we post, don't we! 😁
