As I watched the drawing progress I was wondering what you meant by the body being too dark. It looked great. I do see what you mean by the last picture, though. In the third picture it looks paler on the body, or is that just the angle of the photo?

So hard to get the pressure just right with one pencil. Sometimes making the marks further apart gets it paler, but that wouldn't work here. Still an amazing drawing; way better than I could do anyway, so I'm not really in a position to critique.
