I'll try and find time to read them. I mostly listen to podcasts while i'm travelling with work because I don't often have time to sit and read. Even my writing is done in short spurts.

The issue with any system remains that we all need to be wanting to do things the same way, which often works on a small enough scale because we need each other to work together and survive. However, whether we use a form of currency or not there will always be those who want more power and control and will exert that however they can. The larger the scale of the system the harder it becomes to mitigate that without some form of force. Hence why communism can so easily turn into a dictatorship of the government.

Also the larger the scale the harder it becomes to trade without some form of currency, because we don't all want the same things at the same time. Bartering only works when you both have something the other wants.
