Welcome back to the weekly newsletter. It's been a while what with the Garden Journal Challenge and @riverflows reverting to the comment version while on the move.
I got a little distracted over on @jacobpeacock's page where he does his daily updates on life living on the land as an apocalyptic style homesteader. I find it hard to pick just one of his posts out to highlight, so I'm just going to recommend paying him a visit and reading what you feel like.
Facing some homesteading obstacles over in South East Asia is @justinparke as they attempt to combat erosion on their newly acquired land, using whatever they have on hand, along with sowing any seeds they can find to try and get some root networks going to retain that soil.
As I strolled through the #gardening tag I was delighted to come across a new arrival to the Hive blockchain, @brittilicious from Saskatchewan. As summer fast approaches for many in the northern hemisphere, it's still a bit to early to grow in the Sub-Arctic so tidying, prepping and planning have been the order of the day.
Over in a completely different environment I came across @tydynrain's lava garden. Yes, you read that right and I was captivated too! They are growing in the remnants of the 2018 eruption and things are progressing quite nicely.
Sadly I need to wrap things up here and start making tea, but I couldn't leave without including @momogrow's post that I came across yesterday while browsing the HiveGarden Community. She's been experimenting with rooting and growing from stumps and cuttings, which I always admire, despite having little success myself with this kind of thing.
