There is always so much to be done in the garden and sometimes it can feel overwhelming if you think too much about the scope of what needs to be done. So it was lovely to read this little blog entry from seasoned gardener goldenoakfarm@goldenoakfarm where she outlines just taking each job at a time and observing what nature gets on with as different flowers begin to bloom with the warming weather. I also recommend reading how she makes her mentioned soil amendment, which she did earlier in the week.

Lots has been happening at the ligayagardener@ligayagardener's place to, as he prepares it for winter in the south. I enjoy how he talks about his garden with its living eco system and bringing attention to the environment and even culture that surrounds it and us. I feel like I'm now beginning to think like a garden.

apanamamama@apanamamama gave me some food for thought as she discussed why they decided to get rid of their goats from the homestead. My curiosity was drawn in because I mostly only see articles extolling their virtues, but circumstances are different for everyone as are experiences. It's always good to see another side to things before making decisions on adding animals.

From samstonehill@samstonehill comes an abundant, bumper gardening update, with growing, harvests, meals and cute kittens galore. Who'd have thought so much could happen in just one week!

Having moved to Nova Scotia, juliakponsford@juliakponsford has been able to really start on her gardening journey. It was lovely to tour through the garden in discovery mode as she learns about new things with growing, foraging and finding the existence of new edibles.

Thank you for joining me, I hope you enjoy these features as much as I did. This week I've chosen momogrow@momogrow to receive a beneficiary for delegating to the gardenhive@gardenhive account, along with goldenoakfarm@goldenoakfarm and apanamamama@apanamamama.
