Hi Guys,

I play #Drugwars time to time and wanted to find out how the attack/defense works so I can have a good combination of troops for a good defense. So I started googling for a drug wars fight #simulator and found this https://simulator.drugwars.io

The thing is...I play strategy games and like always some troops are better in attacking and some are better in defending. As an example, I took the unit #SuperBouncer.
The Super Bouncers attack is 6 and defense is 10. So logically I would think that if I had 100 Super Bouncers attacking 100 Super Bouncers that the attacker would lose cause the defender has a better defense. So I tried it out with a simulator and this is what I got.

The Calculation

Fight start
Round 1 start
[attacker] 100 x bouncer attack +600
[target] 100 x bouncer attack +600
[attacker] 100 x bouncer take damages -600 / 1000
[attacker] 60 x bouncer die
[target] 100 x bouncer take damages -600 / 1000
[target] 60 x bouncer die
Round 2 start
[attacker] 40 x bouncer attack +240
[target] 40 x bouncer attack +240
[attacker] 40 x bouncer take damages -240 / 400
[attacker] 24 x bouncer die
[target] 40 x bouncer take damages -240 / 400
[target] 24 x bouncer die
Round 3 start
[attacker] 16 x bouncer attack +96
[target] 16 x bouncer attack +96
[attacker] 16 x bouncer take damages -96 / 160
[attacker] 9 x bouncer die
[target] 16 x bouncer take damages -96 / 160
[target] 9 x bouncer die
Round 4 start
[attacker] 7 x bouncer attack +42
[target] 7 x bouncer attack +42
[attacker] 7 x bouncer take damages -42 / 70
[attacker] 4 x bouncer die
[target] 7 x bouncer take damages -42 / 70
[target] 4 x bouncer die
Round 5 start
[attacker] 3 x bouncer attack +18
[target] 3 x bouncer attack +18
[attacker] 3 x bouncer take damages -18 / 30
[attacker] 1 x bouncer die
[target] 3 x bouncer take damages -18 / 30
[target] 1 x bouncer die
Fight ended in round 5

So in the end, the attacker and the defender lost 98 troops out of 100. How is that possible? Why is there defense if in the battle there is only attack mode. In a good simulation, the attacker would lose 100 troops and the defender 60. So how does it work?

Could drugwars@drugwars and d-zero@d-zero explain how the fighting calculation works?
