Hi Everyone, this isn't a normal post for me. A rescue group very near and dear to my heart is in trouble. We have personally fostered for this group and transported animals for medical care and to other rescues. They have taken in and helped all 4 of the cats we have rescued off the streets since we moved to the area. And 2 of our own lovely cats were adopted from them.
(This is Sally one of our cats. Her mom was in a local shelter about to be put to sleep the next day when we agreed to foster her. Not even a week later she gave birth to 6 beautiful kittens!)
For many years they have helped every single cat they possibly can. And I mean every. single. one. Because of this they have always been stretched thin but last year they had a very opportunistic and hateful person take advantage. This person stole a lot of equipment among other misdeeds. They have struggled to get past this damage.

If they can not pay off their vet bills and renew their license they will be forced to close. This is a very small rescue who doesn't even have a physical location. They are a network of foster homes and run by a group of volunteers. They do great work for the cats of the south west Georgia area.
