Vivaldi is the only way I know how to teach four seasons in one day. It's frustrating that one week before Christmas I have to teach, "What season do you like?" I'm starting with Vavaldi. It's not exactly a Christmas carol but close enough. I was teally surprised when we first started this lesson I asked students if they ever heard Vivaldi four seasons and they answered no. Sounds like they need a little educating.
Somehow I'm responsible for the writing part. I put together a video from clips of public domain performances of vavaldi's four seasons. I wrote the words on the video from paint 3D. Personally I like the texture it provides. This video is not the prettiest video but it does the trick. I grew up in the grunge era and I'm completely satified and garantee the kids in my classes tomorrow will write about the seasons they like and also get a taste of classical music.
