I'm beginning to get a feel for POB Street.
It is a little like an upbeat Sesame Street.
I really feel good when I see a "Bull Market" My little wallet becomes something worth while. I begin to think about going on vacation and one day quitting my job. I expect the Bull market to continue forever. I plan on selling a little when it goes up a little more, but it doesn't go up a little more. Instead the next day the whole market takes a nose dive.
Now I meet the bull market and I don't have the cash to buy even if I wanted to. For a while I am a little sad that my dream didn't last long. I have nothing left to do except work hard. I begin to gather my resources together and see what I have and use it. I find there are a lot trying to work hard in the bear market and I stick with them. In a matter of time that hard work brings new ideas and applications we wouldn't have tried in a bull market.
Over all the bull market is necessary to make us realize that these dreams are possible, but the bear market is necessary for us to wake up and get to work. Personally I like the bull market more because people seem happier although a bit greedy.
