Kankakee was a small city surrounded by cornfields with an interstate highway going through it. Over the years it just got worse.

Here's the recent pictures from the news in Kankakee. I haven't been there in 30 years. I was there for a bicycle race. I can't race anymore and even if I could I wouldn't do it there.

I much prefer Chicago to Kankakee:
