After reading this passage I see you are a passionate man in many things @vikbuddy.

I've heard people say "the secret is to find your passion". Then I feel kind of like a loser because I'm not passionate about anything and I want to be.

Then I read your article and find two steps to becoming passionate:

Do Everything with Dedication and Whole-heartedly

You will know it only by doing it

You are right. If these two points are initiated then passion will spark. If people did everything with dedication whole-heartedly then maybe life would not be so boring.

You can whole-heartedly "get up!" and whole-heartedly "eat breakfast!" and whole-heartedly "love your wife!" and whole-heartedly "get stuck in the rain!" and whole-heartedly "do your job!" and whole-heartedly "sleep!" then the day is over.

It sounds better then just going from task to task half heartedly and without care, but it's lame and exhausting to do everything wholeheartedly. It seems that passion then is not a hobby or a special niche, but passion is life itself. Nothing is boring, there are only boring people.

When it comes down to it, I find it so hard to even do one thing with dedication whole-heartedly let alone do "everything" with dedication whole-heartedly. Maybe I am just one of the boring people.

if you take any new work or responsibility, then you have two ways, you do that work very well with perfection or do not start it and do anything other than it.

There is something about this statement that just doesn't click with me. It seems to infer that passion is an "all or none" approach to life. I have tried this method but have been interrupted with sudden emergency "responsibilities" so I could not continue everything to perfection. Still I have desire to do so many things. I like to keep a few projects going and then pick them up later while concentrating on another work. I put some things aside while concentrating on more urgent matters. That's why my desk usually looks like it was ransacked. I will clean it, but not right away.

You chose an interesting topic to discuss with bloggers in this community. We have to come to terms with passion because so many burn out and lose passion. Others keep going and they seem to have it together for a long time and then suddenly they can't do it any more either. This burn out point of writers and bloggers would be an interesting topic to look into.

After reading through your article I grew curious about what your native language is. I can see that you have an extensive vocabulary in English and a grasp of the English language and at the same time I can feel in your writing some beautiful patterns of your home town language. I would like to know more about this language.
