So according to Charles Hoskinson,

"Blockchains are effectively fundamentally flawed if they don’t address the oncoming quantum age. The grownups in the room know what's coming."

He is talking about a technology of quantum computing using "qubits" which increase the speed computers calculate. These "quantum computers are expected to appear around 2026. It seems that to avoid attack blockchains would have to develop "post-quantum algorithms". These may slow down the blockchain so much it is obsolete. So blockchains would have to have "quantum encryption keys".

It's sounds to me like this article was written with the one purpose of scaring people into selling during a bull rush that has not yet even reached ATH. Still I wonder if quantum technology could be applied to bitcoin or if the new new bitcoin will be Cardano. Just random thoughts. I'm not sure how to react right now. One part of me wants to sell ADA, the other part says, "HODL".
