I could bring in another @frot for abstract, but this time I'd like to share another from the Art Institute of Chicago. I used to roam the halls of this museum a lot when I was a teenager. At that time there was no entrance fee just any donation was required. The suggested donation was 20 dollars but I didn't have that kind of money. Usually I put in whatever change was falling out of my pockets. Then I raced through the halls of armor until I could get to the modern art. It was there I remember looking at this painting from Kandinsky. It had no title so it was called "Untitled".

It was painted in 1922 and it struck me most because I couldn't figure out from which angel he was coming from. If it was painted in the 1950s I would say he was dreaming about space, but in 1922 space travel was just as mysterious as interdimensional travel. From one perspective we are looking at the whole galaxy and from another perspective we are sitting on a rocking chair smoking a pipe. Kandinsky seems to like green and orange a lot. Not only in this painting but in other paintings as well.
