Kids are my inspiration @edystringz,
Thank you for encouraging me and reminding me of what a blessing it is to be a teacher. I like to listen to kids and I get paid for it.
Teaching is impossible and the pay is low, but the benefits are without limit. At school I am inspired by the children, but on this blog I am inspired by you. Most important I know somebody is reading my post so I can write with an audience in mind.
For a long time I felt like I was sending the posts into the wind, but I don't feel like that here on POB. I feel that there will be an audience reading and my resources and insights can be useful to some.
I'm not sure if teaching is in the blood in Korea. My blood is mostly Italian and German American. I'm the only Korean with a big nose and blue eyes. But yes, there are some great teachers here. As the birth rate is very low our student population is decreasing. Teachers must make classes interactive for this generation or they are right back to their own computer game multitasking the lesson.
I was really busy yesterday at school with changes in classes and the summer English program. Today I will have more time to reflect. I'm thinking of adding these Zoom games into a resource e-book. Maybe other teachers could benefit. I have a lot more I use, of course.^^
