I haven't seen my teenage son cry in years but at the news of one of his heroes dying he began to cry. It's not like he ever met this man face to face but in his heart there was a space for Wakanda.
He watched this movie for the first time when we were visiting America. We were staying with friends from Nigeria and together in the living room they saw the Black Panther. My wife thought it was too violent but my son was glued to it. From that time on he became a strong Marvel Fan.
He said Chadwick Boseman was not like a Hollywood actor but like a friend and an uncle. He was deeply moved.
Last week I had a medical check up and he said, "Dad you're young you don't need to get that check up." But after hearing how his hero died he told me, "I'm glad you got the check up."
Our bodies are not forever. Our mind and our heart desire more than just getting by. We are made to do great things and regardless of our lifespan it is only a short time.
For the past week I've been working on a small business. It's something I wanted to do for a while. If I learned anything it's that nothing is easy and it is a must to love the one we are with. That's not easy if our mind is on business. Another interesting thing I learned is that among all the things I tried online Hive has given me the best overall return.
I find here some people who have some of the same problems as me and I see what they do. I would have never challenged to learn how to draw a picture or make a design or open a store, but I saw people doing trying new things here and followed.
Hive and blockchain will not be forever but our spirit is forever. Our relationships with the people around us have an eternal element. These are the things we should put our effort into for a time will come when everything else is lost.
Rest in Peace Chadwick
My son says, "N'cos. Sihavea" in Wakakanda.
Thank you. We can take it from here.
