Why are forbidden places the first place we wander to? It's another weekend and we have treaded on the path to the secret garden.
This place is so difficult to enter an entourage of palace gaurds stand guard. I would have walked away but my kids kept pushing me on. It all started a week ago after my youngest read an article about one of UNESCO's treasure and gem of Kore, the secret gaden of Chung-duk gung.
This garden can only be visited by special reservation and we were politely escorted by guards who didn't appreciate my kids daring to break the rules. They didn't step far off the path and didn't get wet but still got some frowns from our escort.
I'm exhausted now and will write more tomorrow.
