After doing some painting to make Christmas gifts last Autumn, I got a lot of encouragement to keep painting from family members and the recipients themselves. I recently finished one new piece, pictured in this post, which features a space themed background and the words "The Heavens declare the glory of God" from Psalm 19.
I wish the photos really captured the lettering well. I guess this painting would technically be classified as Mixed Media. The background was done with acrylic paint, and the lettering of the text was done with silver ink from a gel pen.
I certainly enjoy making these, and I'm looking forward to getting more practice and improving my skills!
