So here we go....

There is a trend lately, towards creating a couple of alt accounts, -mostly by active content creators, myself included- delegate their PAL, LEO, SPORTS...etc stake to these accounts by their main account and curate the content they enjoy most more efficiently. Or maybe not? In other words, a way to manage their VP. But does this work?

Works perfectly fine for me.

You can always do it manually...if you have plenty of free time....

...or you could just use holger@holger's super powerful tool, steemrewarding. Now I ain't gonna delve into details regarding how steemrewarding works. Most likely you have read abh12345@abh12345's post by now, where he explains everything you need to know in order to create a vote trail rule. If not...then go ahead and read it.

If you are bored of reading...just upvote manually ffs.

If you don't fall into this category, of people who created alt accounts for different tribes and you keep upvoting using your main account only then you could stop reading here. That was a joke, obviously.

The reason I am writing these lines is to remind everyone that “curation” is not charity, nor just a way to earn some rewards passively. It’s more than that.

It’s you reinvesting your investment.

Didn’t you invest your fiat / crypto in order to have bigger influence on specific platforms? Yes you did, maybe a small portion of your stake, but you did.

I did...and I keep doing it actually.

No? You didn’t invest a penny? Still, you must have invested your precious time and put in a lot of effort. That’s investment too you know...

From where I stand, curating content is a way to tell the author: ”Hey, you’re doing a good job and, content like this is what will drag others into the new tribes/communities that pop up day after day. It’s what we need in order to add value and protect our “initial investment” and finally what will push the price of each coin to go up.”

On the other hand, if your posts don't draw much attention, then you should ask yourself :"Am I doing something wrong maybe?"

That's how things should work. Period. It's you investing in people!

And don’t forget...

If you discovered a post under ( let’s say steemleo tag) and you upvoted it full force...at 100% VP, with your Steemleo alt account, does it mean that it deserves no Pal or steem rewards? Because I’ve seen this “phenomenon” quite often. Mostly by those who created alt accounts, and once they upvote with that account a certain post, forget (?) to repeat the same process using all their alts for the very same post.

And here’s where steemrewarding comes into play. To save the day...

I see no reason why I shouldn’t upvote a post with all my alt accounts. In fact that’s exactly what I am doing...

And the comments too...

If a post is worthy for an upvote from my Pal account then it’s worthy for an upvote from my main account as well.

You would be surprised to know how many powerful and active “curating” accounts are eagerly waiting for your new contribution...

Give them reasons to not skip your post...

Make them have no other choice but to upvote your contribution. In other words try a little harder.

We are at the very beginning of a really beautiful journey....
