I think we all agreed that changing the 75% - 25% model to 50% - 50% wound incentivize people to buy more HIVE...that it would trigger them to stake those tokens because they would earn too. Frontrunners or not I don't care as long as they keep staking and being active voters. Nobody ever complained about low curation rewards...want more rewards? Buy more Hive. That simple...Just like you do. Just like I do.
Want more author rewards? Try harder...
I think the current model works fine...but that's just me. There's always room for improvements of course but Idon't see this one as such.
If the real purpose is to reduce inflation by 2% why don't we simply change the code?
