The timing of Rosenstein announcing 12 more Russian indictments from Mueller could not be more damning. Infusing a new round of Russian hysteria into the news cycle will take heat off the testimonies of Peter Strzok and Lisa Page.
If you're wondering what could be so bad that they would do this - During Strzok's testimony he took a line of questioning from Rep. Louie Gohmert. In which Gohmert said,
"The Intelligence Community Inspector General (ICIG) found an “anomaly on Hillary Clinton’s emails going through their private server, and when they had done the forensic analysis, they found that her emails, every single one except four, over 30,000, were going to an address that was not on the distribution list. - It was going to an unauthorized source that was a foreign entity unrelated to Russia,”
Gohmert said the ICIG investigator, Frank Rucker, presented the findings to Strzok, but that the FBI official did not do anything with the information.
This means that Clinton was either willfully committing treason or whoever this "foreign entity tied to Russia" is, they were operating on the assumption that Clinton would win and her damaging emails would serve as blackmail of a future president.
