A boy of one of my close friends has just come out to his parents and they disowned him because they said it goes against God.
I'm curious for anyone here on Steemit with strong beliefs would you ever disown a close family member for something that goes against your personal beliefs? (Something that is not illegal, just against your faith)
Is homosexuality a choice, or something you were born with (therefore you can't blame the person for it)?This is especially interesting because if this is how you were born, then based on religious views, that's how God created you, so it can't go against him, right? (at least this is how I tried to calm my friends down)
In other words: if God really hates homosexuals,why does He keep creating them?
