Who says that drawing with a 3D pen, is mostly for kids?

I am the proud creator of a 3D VW Beetle Bee. And not just an ordinary looking one, but one of a kind :) A handmade, hippie, happy Bee that I put more than 50 hours of work into.

Process

  1. I first started with a simple idea of a small Volkswagen car that was supposed to be a Christmas present for a dear friend. I found a way to make a raw paper model, just to figure out what car parts I should start with.

  2. I started making the structure of the car in one color (white).

  3. Time to fill the car's "wireframe" with some life. That was probably the most difficult part - deciding on the design, choosing the colors, drawing carefully and evenly.

  4. Final version - Ta-daaaam!

  5. Wrap it up and make it a gift.
