goodbye

adult-1869001_640.jpg

There are no days
which harbour even a
fragment of the cold,

It has all dissipated now,
Slowly but surely
evaporated into the stillness of the wintery years.

I don't like to admit that I think of you,
But if they were to ask me about you,
I'd say one thing,
'I forgive you,'

I guess holding on to hurt runs its course,
Like every season.
Til the time comes and it is time to bid it farewell.
I bid every inch of you,
Farewell.

Goodbye my love,
I wish you nothing but sweet dreams.
