I've always told myself:

Careful what you wish for, cause it might just happen.

... One small wish I had when I started doing photography 4 years ago, was that one day I'd be closer to the UK canals, as rivers and canals offer endless opportunities for shadows, and I'm always on the lookout for shadows and reflections.

Here is a compilation of photos taken on a balmy spring day.

There are subtle changes in lighting as the sun peeks out every now and then, yet so atmospheric, that I tend not to want to do any photo editing of these images.

Every stretch and corner is a head turner of postcard images, which showcases the true essence of the beauty of the UK Canals Network and Countrysides.

I promise you, days like these with reflections everywhere, have calming and centering effects on the mind.

BTW, speaking of wishes, I think I'll toss a penny in the canals, and make a wish to be a millionaire...
