Self Portrait Pencil Drawing

I'm feeling exceptionally thankful for the #HiveBlockChain especially the #OnChainArt Community today.
Yesterday I presented my very first drawing since I was 10 years old.

Drawing is something that came natural as a child, however, I guess life makes you become more self conscious and alters your self belief.

I decided to do this drawing of a self portrait I took on my last birthday in July.

What I realised through this exercise, is:

1. How much I have grown as a person. I am no longer a perfectionist, and thank fuck for that!
2. I draw without thinking, and just let my creativity flow.
3. I've wanted to do this for sometime and I had plans of doing it only when I was alone, and hiding my rekindled hobby from EVERYONE until I felt confident in my ability (that's just my personality)

Happily, I look at it and I see the flaws, I recognise my shortcomings, I realise what I need to learn, yet still, I proudly present this to you.

I'm open to suggestions from other Artists, for my improvement.
