There are pros and cons to getting a second-hand machine. One pro is that you will obviously get it at a really good price. The cons are the maintenance and if the previous owner loved the machine...

I think this is true, and you also miss out on a warranty replacement for the product when purchased second-hand. I'm glad you were able to find the parts through your friend:)

One thing i will say always have a good social connections when your in an industry.
