It's funny that you mention wanting to communicate in your language. While living in the Philippines, I missed the expressive nature of Jamaicans, and their funny and unique termination and delivery. Just thinking about it makes me chuckle. I love that there's no PC in Jamaica and people say exactly what's on their minds good or bad 🤣
That was one of the hardest cultural adjustments for me in the UK and the Philippines. In Holland I was ok because the Dutch tell you exactly what they feel... hence the term "Dutch Courage" which people debate about and say that they only have courage when they are intoxicated - not true:)
They are pragmatic thinkers, so they see no point in beating around the bush.
