Play It Again! is a French national festival devoted specifically to cinéma de patrimoine, bringing important older films back onto the big screen.
It was created in 2015 and has been organised by the ADRC (Agence nationale pour le développement du cinéma en régions) since 2019, with support from the CNC. The idea is to make cinema heritage accessible not only to hardcore cinephiles but also to people who simply want to discover classics.
The 2026 edition is running 17–27 September in more than 200 cinemas across France, with about 220 towns/cities participating.
A major part of the festival is showing films that have been recently restored in 2K or 4K.
