I love plants (and mushrooms for that matter - they don't get enough recognition)! I didn't know all these things about chamomile, except it's a sleep aid.
Herbal remedies are so subtle, I think it causes people to dismiss their power. There is so much poison in a lot of foods that are accepted as normal these days (and not only foods; even things like the radio waves surrounding us), we're sick and docile and willingly consume more poisons to numb ourselves... Then we're way too detached and fucked up chemically to feel the effects of our plant friends. Avoiding toxins and maintaining a healthy diet, as much as is reasonably possible, feels so much better; you can't memorize all the facts about supportive foods, but you know what you eat works for you and not against you.
Soeajing of herbs and supplements, I'd like to give a shout out to Elderberry. I have struggled with sinus issues for years, always blowing my nose, very sensitive to pets and pollen and grass and dust. Ever since I've been taking Elderberry capsules, my symptoms have decreased dramatically. And, I don't have to worry about unwanted and unknown side effects of over-the-counter antihistamine drugs.
