The details are personal, but I'll just say, I'm really feeling this poem on this particular night, and I'm so glad I decided to reach out to someone.
A life of isolation is never good for anyone.
But few will open up if you don't knock on the door. They don't want to be a burden, or they just don't know you care, if you don't say anything.
A lot of people don't make sense on the outside, but when you really talk to them, you can understand exactly why they are the way they are, and then they have someone to talk to, and you might even be able to offer some help if they're willing to accept it.
It's always better to prevent something (like what you wrote about) than to try to fix it after it breaks, if it's not too late...
But I didn't know what to do, or what to say, or how to say it, or I was afraid to, until tonight when I prayed for opportunities and ideas, then meditated in silence, and I knew.
Now, knowing what I've learned from reaching out, I pray I get more ideas and opportunities for positive change.
This is one of those times when a lot of things suddenly "click" all at once. After doing what I just wrote about, and then having a very beautiful experience surfing YouTube and stumbling upon some new music I could really feel, I happened to open Steemit to post something I'd neglected to post, and there you were in the "new posts" section! Your writing is very insightful. It's times like these when I feel like there's some beautiful force guiding me and strategically placing stepping stones, so I can grow. There is light in this world, but only if you're open to its subtle nature. It comes from within, if you listen, with patience.
