The good in humanity must be cultivated and cared for. Our beautiful ability to think allows us a choice, unlike the mosquito. But it is that ability to choose that leads men to commit terrible acts. The ability to convince oneself,or to be convinced, that acting out evil is not evil but is good. This is the problem that faces humanity. Our ability to deceive and to be deceived.

The cultivation of positive Shared values and self growth to trusting onesself to perceive universal truth is a mark of a good man because then he can withstand the deception and turn to fight agaisnt evil. Not commit it.
