…well, not really 🤔. While walking around Los Angels I was hopping to be one of the “lucky ones” that I would meet on of the “rich and famous” to finally confirm to myself that they are just “normal” people as I am 😝. But that was not the case.

We found ourselves wondering around in a very large city, spotting some of the “familiar” locations that we’ve seen in movies or TV series.

As Forrest Gump we’ve started our jogging on Santa Monica Pier and continue to Venice Beach.

We loved the area of Venice beach and all young and not so young enjoying the fresh air and relaxing in skating, street basket, etc…The art murals are really stunning!

We made a stop at Muscle Beach – what they call it the birthplace of US fitness. Arnold Schwarzenegger was also training there and showing his muscles back in the 80's …but unfortunately the site was closed for renovation at that time 😪.

Then it was time for “windows shopping” on Rodeo Drive – not my type of free time at all – my wife was hoping that at least Julia Roberts would repeat her shopping walk, but nothing happened.

Beverly Hills area was just as I’ve imagined it: nice and elegant neighborhoods, palm – lined streets, fine restaurants and fancy boutiques.

We drove up to Griffith Park, first to have, as was written in the tourist guide, the best view od the Hollywood sign and in second place, because the Griffith observatory was mentioned in the TV series The Big Bang Theory – which is for me the best comedy series ever!

I assure you, that the white spot on below picture is the Hollywood sign👀. I thought we would have a better view of it…

On the other hand, the park and the observatory were great, and the view of the LA basin was fabulous.

Only on the Hollywood Walk of Fame we have met the first celebrities..ups typo…we saw their names on the sidewalk 😊. A very lively and vibrant area with Grauman’s Chinese Theatre and the Kodak Theatre.

At the end of our LA trip we decide to spend a day on a studio tour and decided for the Universal Studios.

Some of the attractions and rides were just great but we loved the studio tour.

And od course Harry Potter

I hope you didn’t take me too seriously…I wasn't really looking for celebrities in LA, but really loved my stay in West Hollywood. We met some very interesting people, have some great sushi, and did a little bit of shopping 😊!
