Dtube update

Just noticed today that they updated the dtube site. It got a much needed change! It still needs a lot of work in my opinion but the look and design is a whole lot better than what it was. It kept me from posting more videos because of the design and layout with not very many options but it looks they're putting in some effort and that is a good thing. Not going to lie, it is VERY similar to youtube, their logo is just youtube with inverted colors. Besides that though, I think it will help people who want to post more videos like me.

I think the main benefit of a video compared to a blog is that the audience will get to know your personality. It might help some while it might hurt others but the good thing about it is that you don't have to do videos and just have your good quality info. I believe it will eventually get more video creators since it's a better potential for smaller creators compared to big ones like in youtube.

Another great thing about it is that there's not advertiser friendly obligation that you need to have in order to make a profit and that WAS the good thing about youtube, no censorship. There are, of course issues with it which can and will probably be fixed in the future if it makes sense to. An example would be that I see a lot of shows being posted on there and people getting paid for it. I am a little torn by that though because if people want to give others their vote, then who is anyone else to say but in the end it is pirating something for money.

Well, here's to a better steemit and having a better dtube site is definitely going to help. If it does become more user friendly and overall great to use, including faster loading times, expect to be uploading a few here and there.
