5 Meanwhile I am in the world, light I am of the world.
Jesus presented himself to mankind as the light of the world, since ancient times the prophets began to preach about Him as the savior and light of the world for the salvation of all nations.
John was one of those who preached and came to announce Jesus as the light of the world for the forgiveness of sins, and throughout his ministry he demonstrated to the world what the prophets had said of Him.
Jesus performed thousands of miracles healed the sick, raised the paralyzed to the dead and gave sight to the blind in the meantime that his ministry was developing as the light of the world.
Everyone who walks with Jesus has the light of life but he who refuses to walk with Him walks in darkness, for this reason the world today is in darkness because there are few who decide to come to the light.
Jesus is the true light that came into this world to open the sight of the blind and to give life to the dejected and broken. Today the world suffers a lot because they have not decided to surrender their lives to Jesus and walk in their truth, that is why there are so many dejected, imprisoned and subjected to slavery.
Only Jesus can give man freedom, because He is the light of life is the light of the world and while He is in the world can bring freedom and light to mankind.
