Its members are blind Lawyers, special education teachers, mothers, fathers, husbands, is amazing ability to lead a full life but can not see.
The walk was in a country house, certainly spacious, green, cozy, the people who own the place were very receptive and cordial. When we arrived the first thing we could do, was to mount the boiled, in my country one of the delights is to prepare this food to the wood (wood). Someone had to be aware of his cooking.
Each person with a disability has a history, I could start a conversation with some of them, Such is the case of Mr. Jesús Duque, who today is Chef, Mr. Jesús spent 15 years of his life in the Venezuelan army where he became Captain. His vision was lost due to high ocular tension, where he lost the vision completely of the right eye and gradually the vision of his left eye, becoming totally blind. After being blind, is disabled by the Venezuelan Armed Forces, but still needs to earn a living, so he decides to incur the world of gastronomy. He is a very optimistic man and really admire. He has had his disability for 20 years.
Details were given, because of the day of the parents, they sang their birthday to the members who had turned years during the month of June, We chopped the cake, we shared some paspalos, what if I can affirm were their smiles, their thanks, This is where I want to acknowledge that thanks to the YOUAREHOPE Foundation, it is possible to give help to these people and many more, an afternoon of relaxation, to be taken into account, to feel appreciated and that if they matter, it is priceless, just the satisfaction of giving comforts us and feeds us as human beings.
Some of them were attracted to learn from STEEMIT, with the help of Prof. Nubia Medina, one of the founders of this association, who must train a staff, to teach the systems classes for the blind and thus be able to carry this out . In Venezuela, many of these training activities are almost impossible, being on the side of those in charge of these associations with the help of the willingness of private companies to stay afloat.
