The small and salty mammilaria cactus is composed of several cylindrical or globular stems that give rise to a dense and rounded bush.
These stems are covered by a fine silky white hair and between this hair disrellan the characteristics of the thorns.
Mummies in general cacti flower in the spring. The flowers are concentrated creating a ring near the crown of the stems and are short-lived.
They are able to survive in arid and dry land.
