Leadership Vs. Authority

Hello, how are you? How are they? I recently had the opportunity to discuss this topic in depth, due to certain things that I was doing, and it really seemed quite important to leave this topic here, because we tend to confuse leadership with authority, as they are terms that go hand in hand .

Leadership refers to the ability to influence the decisions of others, it is to be an example by making correct decisions, either through knowledge or experience, it is a position that can be imposed or not, a leader always has a purpose and knows how persuade people to support that purpose.
Now, we should not confuse it with authority because, an authoritarian image is imposed, I would associate it with governments, dictatorships, which are well the image of authority but are not always good leaders.

So, do you think a leader is born or made?

I consider that a leader is made, with character, attitude and empathy
