I have a 3-Series request.
Clean Boost/Overdrive
Extra Headroom
Tone Shaped [Open]
Smooth Frequency Cutoff
Cutoff Shelf Prameiters
[63hz to 6.30khz]
Toggle Switch UP:
MXR Micro Amp Plus
Volume/Treble/Bass
Toggle Switch DOWN:
Boss OD-3
Amp in Pedal
Stacked Sound
Drive/Treble/Bass
Instead of the toggle as a just mid-hump, make it Clean Boost & Transparent Overdrive, with Treble & Bass with boost & cut, able shape the mids into an adjustable hump between 1.60 & 2.50.
Bass cut negative db to 2.50
Trebleut negative db to 1.60
this placed at the end of a pedal board will help fix cheap amps sound.
The Toggle Switch would place Clean Boost as Volume, without Drive.
Overdrive would push in front of cascading circuits as as Preamp, Drive without Volume Pot.
Drive at Unity, as Gain goes up Volume goes down, to keep Unity.
..
what makes the Marshall plexi sound so good is Channel Jumping with dual inputs cable patched together & blended in series?
with 4 treble controls including presence & loudness.
Channel jumping is different then a dry bleed-threw, because both channel are naturally compressing independently in parallel
..
Channel jumping is often employed on vintage Marshall and similar amps because one channel is often too bright, and the other too dark. In all cases where both channels are in phase (Marshalls yes, most 2 channel Fenders no) the amp will break up sooner because you're hitting the phase inverter with more signal amplitude.
