Kynurenic acid (KYNA) is an endogenous antagonist of N-methyl-D-aspartate and α7 nicotinic acetylcholine receptors that is derived from astrocytes as part of the kynurenine pathway of tryptophan degradation. Evidence suggests that abnormal KYNA levels are involved in the pathophysiology of schizophrenia.
Parasites such as Plasmodium and Toxoplasma possess a vestigial plastid homologous to the chloroplasts of algae and plants.
The plastid (known as the apicoplast; for apicomplexan plastid) is non-photosynthetic and very much reduced, but has clear endosymbiotic ancestry including a circular genome that encodes RNAs and proteins and a suite of bacterial biosynthetic pathways.
We have also learned that the apicoplast contains an ensemble of bacteria-like pathways to replicate and express its genome plus an anabolic capacity generating fatty acids, haem and isoprenoid precursors.

just seems like something missing, alga apicoplast & chimera bacteria symbiont are somehow joined together within mycoplasma, bypassing the protozoa all together.
a weaponized stealth pathogen, otherwise doctors would have already isolated it, very small.

Toxoplasma is Apicoplast, the alga fungi component, it may be in some types of Mycoplasma, but not much evidence for that, i think its what we call a virus, almost like a yeast symbiont of the mycoplasmas bacteria, manufacturing toxic Peptide venom.
the Symbiont manufactures the venom in wasps & snakes, or chronic disease & pathogens in other animals.
symbionts dont normally jump species, requires modifications.
Mycoplasma is like a Zombie shell or carrier of Endosymbionts via Bacteriophage.
they are combined to make it contagious, otherwise virus very delicate, hard to transmit without lipid protection.
