look down to.. "Function"
RhD protein is one of three subunits of an ammonia transporter.
Three recent studies have reported a protective effect of the RhD-positive phenotype, especially RhD heterozygosity, against the negative effect of latent toxoplasmosis on psychomotor performance in infected subjects. RhD-negative compared to RhD-positive subjects without anamnestic titres of anti-Toxoplasma antibodies have shorter reaction times in tests of simple reaction times. And conversely, RhD-negative subjects with anamnestic titres (i.e. with latent toxoplasmosis) exhibited much longer reaction times than their RhD-positive counterparts.
The published data suggested that only the protection of RhD-positive heterozygotes was long term in nature; the protection of RhD-positive homozygotes decreased with duration of the infection while the performance of RhD-negative homozygotes decreased immediately after the infection.
The overall change in reaction times was always larger in the RhD-negative group than in the RhD-positive.

people with Rh-negative blood were found to have a lower probability of both infection and serious COVID-19 illness than people with Rh-positive blood.
Individuals with a Rh-positive but not Rh-negative blood group are more vulnerable to SARS-CoV-2 infection.
individuals with two copies of CCR5-Delta32 mutation could possibly have immunity to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and individuals with one copy of the CCR5-Delta32 mutation could have a maximum chance of recovery at a event of being infected with the COVID-19

Smallpox = HIV
CCR5 deletions have been shown to provide protection against pathogens, including smallpox, flaviviruses, dengue, Zika, West Nile virus & HIV.
The receptor for smallpox virus is not known, but if it is CCR5, then smallpox is the leading candidate for the selective pressure responsible for fixation of the CCR5 delta 32 HIV-1 resistance allele in modern Caucasians.

two vacations of protozoa capable of passing blood brain barrier, and altering brain processes, related to Malaria, get confused with viruses because after long term infection is said to be permanent.
the parasite apprenently makes some blood types more alpha & others beta, wolf & sheep behavior.
i suspect its been combined with stealth properties of mycoplasma, with a similar function & almost completely undetectable.
