the crome plate might be fine for screws & washers.

cheap reeds doubled up, might be the ticket.

extend inner magnet with wood Dowl & felt, to adjust reed pitch.

heat up bubble gum with a candle, reinforce breakpoint by putting gum where reed meets comb to raise pitch & on the tip end to lower pitch.

candle, metal pick & flat metal for underneath reed.

nail polish gel on side of reeds to close air gap, and on reed rims top & bottom to reinforce breaking point, and on tip to drop pitch.
