So I'm not entirely sure how all of this reward system works with Marriott, but when I checked in to my hotel for the conference yesterday, I realized that I have reached a new Tier of rewards with the Marriott program. I'm a Marriott Gold Elite member!!
What did this mean at check in? A really nice upgrade to a suite! I have a king sized bedroom with living room and small kitchen. It is very spacious and in a brand new hotel in Tulsa. It made me a little sad that I was only spending two nights here.
Guess I need to find more reason to spend nights at Marriott hotels for the cool Gold Benefits... or better yet, making my way up to Platinum. That would be cool too!
