Today is 21st February and although the blue tit has been sleeping in the nestbox for about six weeks today is the very first day she has started bringing nesting materials in .
This year I’m going to keep a better log off events from start to finish so as today is the first day she has brought in nesting materials day 1 seems to be a good place to start.
I should of done this last year really so I could compare dates and things like time taking for nest building the first egg etc etc.
