Domain names are still a great investment and can be very profitable. Last weeks domain sales was lead by another 6 figure sale, EVM.com, selling at $100,000.
In the country code domain extension sales chart, Hyper.ai was at #1 with a $11,900 sale.
Have you been wanting to learn how to start investing in domains?
Great
Lets get started...
I highly recommend heading over to DomainSherpa.com and start watching all the past shows where there are some very informative videos on pretty much everything you need to know about domain investing.
There are courses you can purchase online that don't even come close to all the information that the Domain Sherpa Show has and, it's all free!
If you want to purchase expired domains, there a a number of sites you can purchase them including ExpiredDomains.net, NameJet.com and GoDaddy expired domain auctions.
Before investing though, I highly recommend gaining as much knowledge as you can so you know what domain names to invest in.
For selling domain names, the most popular platforms are Sedo, Flippa and GoDaddy Premium. These websites have the most traffic and buyers. These platforms handle the payment transactions with their own Escrow service and on Flippa, you can also use your Paypal account for transactions. Most platforms charge 10% and up for commission fees and I have found that Flippa is one of the cheapest with no extra fee for their escrow service.
Another great platforms is Undeveloped.com where you can have a beautiful landing page for your domain name like this one: https://undeveloped.com/buy-domain/.com/gamblelize.com?redirected=true.
Undeveloped charges a 15% commission fee but includes their escrow service for secure transactions. They also offer a payment plan option if you would like to offer that to your buyers.
So to start,
Once you have some knowledge, you can start to buy expired domain names at low cost and resell them for a nice profit!
