MY EXPERIENCE AS A DIGITAL MARKETER

Digital Marketing is one of the Best Freelance work to engage in. Digital marketing means creation of awareness on online Channels or digital channels to attract customer or to build and create an attractive business prospect and relationships to achieve a goal or targets. I came across Peakd Hive in August 8, 2023 through @moremoney28. He was my colleague in the university. My experience outside hive have been more concentrated on Digital marketing task, and Graphic design. I started my University in 2017/2018 and finished in 2021/2022. I Graduated from the department Of Human Kinetics.

During my years in school and outer school I was opportune to learn some extra supportive skills which I find useful till date. Some of the skills include, foundations on CSS and HTML languages, Basics of Phython programming, Graphic design. Presently not am more focused on Ui/UX design, Data Entry and Digital marketing because of high opportunities demand.

My Journey on Digital Marketing has been a burden free on me. My first encounter with digital marketing Opportunity was during Pandemic, corona virus lockdown, where we where all at home and had nothing to do at home. I was so bored and Unordered, I felt and had several thoughts that I needed something to do with my time. Then I saw my elder brothers engaging in some google skills, later I saw digital marketing 6month Course. I did my research on it and then I started my lectures immediately that evening.

My journey through the course did not last me up to 6month but 4month. I got certified 04/04/April 2020. Later again I started a physical class on Ui/UX design which include use of Figma and Inkscape, my engagement on this lasted 3 month for perfection. After I engage in Application Development which am still under tutorial till date now on this.

My Digital Marketing skills I learnt includes,

Use of SEO(Search engine Optimization
social Media Marketing and Management
Email Marketing
Digital Maketing Strategies
Use of Microsoft word in marketing
Basic Data Analysis
management of Website marketing promotion
Creation of Google Ads
customer relations
And lots more.

My Experience as a digital Marketer started some weeks after I got certified. This experience has really opened other pathways to learning new innovative skills in practice of digital marketing. Although I still have some other skilled experiences I engaged in. Here are some of my experiences as digital marketer.

My First Experience was working an SEO creator and working as a keyword generator for local businesses
I worked as a Data Analyst, where I engage with Excel and helping with Data arrangement and data entry. I worked with four oaks for 6month on this category.
Social Media Manager; I help Mixedby96 manage their Instagram and Tiktok account and attending to customers online
Presently as a digital marketer I work as a Sale Associate which I started January till date. My major job on this is to create awareness for Big company trading to engage in jiji An Online Markplace sales and also to attend to customers wanting to creat an plus promotion account. This job is a freelance job but must be done with groups.

This are my experiences so far. Digital marketing have not only been a skill for me but also a means of earnings. If you have any engagement for me feel free to comment and I will share you my number.

My advice to anyone looking forward to having a digital marketing skill is that , you should go for it, it is a freelance job and there are lot of job opportunities you can get through the skills leant as it is not only limited to marketing only.
