Hive on Your Phone: Why Mobile Nodes Could Change Everything

Most people think running a blockchain node needs a big computer and a lot of money. Hive is working to change that.
Hive's roadmap lists bringing node technology to ARM-based mobile devices, including personal API nodes on phones. If this works as planned, regular users could take part in running the network from their own phones. (hive)
Why this matters
More decentralization: the more people run nodes, the harder the network is to control.
Lower barriers: in places like Nigeria, many people only have a phone, not a laptop.
More independence: users wouldn't have to depend on a few big servers.
My take as a phone-first builder in Lagos
I build web and app projects from my phone, so this matters to me. Tools that work on a phone give people like me a real way to take part in Web3.
Question for you: would you run a Hive node on your phone if it were easy? Tell me in the comments.
