Bendiciones.

It is the extreme of many things we call love; it is the reasonable limit of that love within that secluded society, which has its own practices regarding how to love. I wanted to add more details and clues that would further explain the plot, but as I wrote the text, I realized it was getting too long, both for what the rules required and for what some readers are accustomed to reading. Evidently, fiction remains in our minds as a narrative where almost anything could have happened. Because precisely in the part I omitted, the subtextual explanation of the bodies that appeared, and how and why there were only (or remained) two "normal" people, was hidden.
I appreciate that you read it to the end and enjoyed it, and that you gave it a special meaning by involving your own pet and seeing the deeper layers of the story.
Blessings.
