Hey everybody! I have some art news to share with all of you before the month of July comes to an end.
I was grateful to participate in the My View From Home mail art exhibition which featured works from artists around the globe responding to the C-19 pandemic lockdowns. I made a series of multimedia works using my street photography postcards as a starting point. The show now resides in the Vanderbilt University Library's Special Collections and it was also written up in TIME magazine.
One of my "re-mixes" was included in the show, but a bunch of the other works I created are on the way to my Patreon patrons' mailboxes as I type. Take a look at the images of painted/collaged photo-postcards I've included with this post.
Please share and upvote if you dig 'em and consider joining our beauty insurgency at Patreon. Join at any level and I'll make and mail one just for you.
Also, this is my first post on HIVE since leaving Steemit. I'm very happy to be here and excited to find such a vibrant art community on my very first visit.
Gratefully,
Joe
